Senior Management Development Programme reaches climax
The senior managers within the Durham primaries contract made presentations last week to Directors of the Company to mark the conclusion of their 12 month senior management development programme.
The participants in the programme were all asked to present on topics they had learnt and some of the presentations were the most innovative he had seen according to Peter Taylor.
It would be unfair to single any particular presentation but one manager used four pupils from one of her schools in her presentation. Deputy Head Mrs Curry brought Isha, Ella, Jack and Robbie from Witton Gilbert Primary School for a version of So you think you know more than a 10 year old against the Directors. Needless to say the Directors came second!!!
Not only did they show off their knowledge of healthy eating but also produced their own advertising material.
Another manager laid on a version of Dinner Ladies for the Directors including a song and dance act at the end of the show.
'It was clear that all those involved had gained a great deal from the programme and showed how much dedication there was within the contract' said Peter Taylor.
